GRAND FEEL COMPACT MECHANISM WITH PRESSURE POINT AND WOODEN KEYBOARD WITH IVORY TOUCH SURFACE

The CA59 model features the new Grand Feel Compact action with wooden keys, which—thanks to Kawai's 90 years of piano-making experience—provides an exceptionally realistic playing experience. All 88 keys are crafted entirely from long pieces of wood, with the white keys featuring Ivory Touch keytops for enhanced playing control.
Each of the 88 keys moves smoothly on a balance beam, just like on an acoustic grand piano. The long keys (especially the length from the front edge of the key to the balance beam pin) facilitate playing in the back of the keys. The Grand Feel Compact keyboard action incorporates graded hammers, counterweights in the bass register, and escapement simulation. Furthermore, the triple-sensor system ensures optimal repetition and playing control.
